NYAAE Awards
NYAAE, in conjunction with NAAE, maintains an extensive awards program to recognize the accomplishments of our many talented and dedicated members. We have awards for agricultural educators in every stage of their careers, from scholarships to lifetime achievement. Individuals who are recognized as award winners for NYAAE have the opportunity to represent the region and be recognized by the National Association of Agricultural Educators.

2026 NYAAE Award Application Timeline:
Jan 15th: Nominations Close.
Please complete the nomination form for each person you would like to nominate. Nominate yourself, your colleagues, or your community members!
Generally, teachers who have been nominated will complete their application, however, if you are nominating an organization or other non-teacher, you may be asked to assist in gathering information for their application.
Jan 30th: Notification and Completion of NYAAE Application
Feb. 18th: State Award Application due and Review process begins
March 5th: State Finalist notified - Complete NAAE applications
April 15th: Submit NAAE Applications to NYAAE to be judged
April 23rd: Feedback provided to finalist, all will submit to NAAE
May 15th: All NYAAE finalist submit Award application to NAAE.
June 22nd: NYAAE Award Winners recognized at the 2026 NYAAE Awards Banquet at the Oswegatchie Education Center
