Hi, I’m Dan. This year I will be a senior at Warwick Valley High School. I was born in Warwick and have lived here my whole life. I live with my dad, mom and younger sister Jackie who is also an avid FFA member. For several years now I have worked on a certified naturally grown produce farm learning the business from the ground up … working first in the greenhouse and fields and later supervising the farm store, market and café. In the winter I run my own snow plowing operation as well as assisting with the firewood business my father started a few years ago. I have a couple of dairy cows that I show at county fair and a 6 year old standard bred horse that I have raised since he was 5 days old. I also help with the daily care of my families other 6 horses, four of which we have raised since birth. After high school I hope to go on to college, majoring in agricultural education. I’m really looking forward to this year and serving as your NYS FFA Vice President.
