The Cattaraugus-Little Valley CSD located in Cattaraugus NY is in need of a full-time agriculture teacher to support the continued growth and development of the agricultural program. The district is approximately 180 square miles with an enrollment of 950 students UPK - 12th grades. The vision of the CLV District is to create diverse learning opportunities in the areas of agriculture, ag mechanics and related courses at the middle and high school level. The Clymer Central School District is seeking a NYS Certified Agriculture educator who has knowledge of and can work with NYS career and technical learning standards, a commitment to curriculum development, grant writing, professional development, flexible teamwork, collaboration with local Agri-Businesses, a strong understanding of FFA with the ability and desire to commit to building and advising a school chapter which would include preparing students for local, regional, and state FFA events. The position entails classroom instruction in Agriculture in the high school grades, middle school technology, and student supervision for authentic learning experiences. Salary: As per contract plus days in the summer as agreed upon.
