In Depth Description of SAE Area:
Forest Management and Products allows FFA members to conserve or increase the economic value of the forest around them. Students also can increase economic value through forest products through practices such as thinning, pruning, weeding, reforestation, insect and disease control, planting and harvesting. FFA members have experiences such as Forest Service, Christmas tree farming, producing and marketing cedar shakes, firewood, wood chips and mulch.
