State Vice President

Nate Lundquist

Nate_LundquistWhat got you started in FFA?:

My first FFA experience was through Camp Oswegatchie in the 7th grade. Before attending camp, I had no idea what FFA was. I met some awesome state officers who introduced me to what FFA was, some of the opportunities I had, and what are the benefits to becoming a member. From that day forward, I was sold! Camp gave me the opportunity to meet some amazing people and to create some amazing memories.

Favorite FFA Experience:

Would saying everything be too much?! My favorite experience was meeting new people as I travel across the state visiting chapters. Being a State Officer, I am given the opportunity to serve the approximately 4,000 members of the greatest youth organization within our state. I get the chance to go to their schools and see what FFA and Agriculture Education is doing for them, and how it is helping to affect their future.

Favorite Thing about FFA:

The Members! FFA Members are the greatest people on the face of the earth!! I have never met a nicer, more sincere group of people than the 540,000+ members of FFA Nationwide. YOU members are the reason I do what I do. You are the reason I serve.

Pump Up Song (must be appropriate for FFA members to play):

In the Beginning by K'NAAN

What are you looking forward to the most as a State Officer?:

The opportunity to meet more FFA members, and then serve them. Leadership and serving is influence, and I hope that within my year, I influence members to lead, therefore furthering their capability to influence the next generation of FFA members to lead.
