State Convention Competition

State Convention Competition the final state level contest for CDE winners who have advanced from the Sub-State competition. Twenty-five Career Development Events take place at this venue, with winners in national CDEs advancing to the National FFA Convention in October.

  • Agricultural Communication, Agricultural Mechanics, Agricultural Sales, Aquaculture, Discussion Meet, Farm Business Management, Floriculture, Food Science and Technology, Jr. Chapter Meeting, Jr. Quiz Bowl, Jr. Tool ID, Marketing Plan, Small Animal Care, Sr. Quiz Bowl.

In order to move on in the contests listed below, students must have competed at the District level.

  • Agricultural Issues, Job Interview, Jr. Creed Speaking, Jr. Extemporaneous Speaking, Jr. People in Agriculture, Jr. Prepared Public Speaking, Parliamentary Procedure, Sr. Creed Speaking, Sr. Extemporaneous Speaking, Sr. People in Agriculture, Sr. Prepared Public Speaking.

Dates:

  • The 2012 State Convention at VVS will take place on May 3rd to May 5th, 2012.
