District Competition

The District Competition is the first level of competition where winners advance to subsequent rounds of competition. Eleven Career Development Events take place at this venue, with winners advancing to compete at the Sub-State level of competitions.

It is important to note that in order to compete at the sub-state level, members must compete at the District level.

  • Junior Extemporaneous Speaking (6th – 8th grades)

  • Junior Prepared Speaking (6th – 8th grades)
  • Senior Creed Speaking (10th-12th grades)
  • Senior Extemporaneous Speaking (9th – 12th grades)
  • Senior People in Agriculture (9th – 12th grades)
