Senior Prepared Public Speaking

Stand and deliver a speech you believe in. Share your knowledge of agriculture in a way that matters!

The National FFA Prepared Public Speaking Career Development Event is designed to develop agricultural leadership by providing for member participation in agricultural public speaking activities and stimulating interest in leadership and citizenship. The national event will be held in conjunction with the National FFA Convention. Students are asked to research and develop a 6-8 minute speech on an agricultural topic of interest. Participants will then deliver their speech and field questions from the judges.

  • NY Contest Description: The top three speakers at the State level will compete in a final round where they will give their speeches on stage at the State Convention.
