NY FFA has chosen the Rochester Riverside Hotel as the official hotel for the 2018 NYS FFA Convention. The facility is ideally located to all convention venues offering direct access via skywalk to the Convention Center with a short walk to the Blue Cross Arena. Most workshops and LDE/CDE’s will be held in either the Radisson Hotel or Convention Center.

The hotel is currently working on a “landing page” for our conference attendees to make on-line reservations. This should be available soon. In the meanwhile please contact Jennifer Matos at (585) 546-6400, extension 7241 or by email to make a reservation. Rooms will be available with a check-in date of May 16 to 18. Please limit the number of excess rooms you reserve so all schools have the opportunity to join us at this location. Remember to ask for the NYS Association of Future Farmers of America room block when making your reservations.
The special convention room rate for a quad is $135, per night, which includes a modified continental breakfast for up to 4 people. Please note, this is graduation weekend for several of the local colleges and we highly recommend that you take advantage of the official 2018 convention hotel for the best rates and convenience.
All reservations and rooming lists must be provided to the hotel by Friday, March 30, 2018. All reservations made by rooming list will be automatically guaranteed for late arrival to your chapter. If guests identified on the rooming list do not check-in, the Individual Chapter will be charged the one night’s room and tax. Chapters may contact the Rochester Riverside Hotel directly at

Hotel check-in: 3:00 PM and checkout: 11:00 AM.
In order to expedite check-in, the Rochester Riverside Hotel requests all reservations include the following:
- Arrival and departure dates
- Room type preference
- Credit card type, number and expiration date to be used for payment
- Number of guests
- Current address and Phone Information
*A certified check or money order will be accepted 3 business days in advance
All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card or guaranteed and accompanied by a first night’s room deposit in advance including sales and occupancy tax.
The Rochester Riverside Hotel will hold all non-guaranteed reservations until 4:00 pm day before arrival. All reservations for late arrival must be guaranteed with a credit card. All guaranteed reservations must be canceled by 4:00 PM on the day before arrival to avoid the billing of the first night’s room and tax to their individual credit card.
The Rochester Riverside Hotel offers parking for vehicles 6 feet and under in our covered attached garage, based upon availability. Overnight guests will pay a $5.00 reduced parking rate plus applicable taxes. Bus Parking, will be through the Visitor’s Bureau. Detailed information about bus parking will be available as we get closer to convention.

*Incidentals refers to any phone charges, restaurant charges, in-room movie charges, laundry charges
METHOD OF PAYMENT/GUESTROOMS
INDIVIDUAL SCHOOLS PAYING OWN CHARGES
· If full payment is not received at least three business days in advance the hotel reservation is subject to cancellation.
· A valid credit card number is required in order for the Rochester Riverside Hotel to hold reservations on a definite basis.
· If charges relating to the hotel reservation are not paid in cash, check from each individual school district, certified check or money order at the completion of the State Convention, they will be posted to the credit card number on file.
· In the event that a check or credit card is declined, then an alternate method of payment must be obtained.
If an organization maintains tax exempt status, the Rochester Riverside Hotel must be provided with the appropriate tax exemption certificate in order to be exempt from any tax charges. Please remember that payment will need to be made in organizational funds. All Tax-Exempt forms must meet State of New York guidelines.
