Curriculum for agricultural science education (CASE)

An intensive discipline specific conference that provides a high level of educational experiences to enhance the rigor and relevance of agriculture, food, and natural resources (AFNR) subject matter. Besides elevating  knowledge and skills, CASE provides purposeful enhancement of science, mathematics, and English language understanding.

NYAAE MENTORING

NYAAE is piloting a new agricultural education mentoring program that will begin the winter of 2017.  The goal of this new initiative is to support and retain new and existing teachers, provide a content specific mentoring experience, and aid all members seeking to raise the rigor and efficacy of their comprehensive agricultural education programs.

212/360 Ag Educator Workshop

Receive 6 hours of professional development credit while your students attend the 212/360 FFA Leadership Conferences.  This year’s professional development will focus on integrating inquiry into your agriscience classrooms, time management and delegation, supervised agricultural experiences (SAE’s), student award applications, and agricultural education and FFA updates. 

Briggs and Stratton Mechanical Science

If you are an instructor who is relatively new to teaching small engine technology, then this is where you’ll want to start!  This 3-day course should arm you with enough knowledge and confidence to conduct your own basic small engine class.
