New York FFA is excited to offer the 212/360 conference again this year on January 28-29, 2017.
212/360 is one of our most anticipated and well-received leadership events, anchored in the middle of the school year. 212 focuses on individual leadership and 360 is excellent for older students with leadership experience, helping them to recognize the potential they have to impact their chapter, school and community around them.
The conference will take place on January 28 and 29 at the Embassy Suites in Syracuse, NY. Conference sessions begin by 1 pm, so students should be on site and registered by 12:30 to avoid any delays. We will offer a 212 and 360 track (generally recommended for students in grades 7-9 and 10-12, respectively, but we recognize FFA advisors are the best evaluators of their students' preparedness for a large leadership event).
During the conference, students and adults will be provided conference tuition, lodging, a snack, dinner, breakfast and an entertainment night. The State Officers have planning underway for a themed fun night.
Receive professional development while your students attend the 212/360 FFA Leadership Conferences. Each teacher will be eligible for up to six hours of professional development credit. This year’s professional development will focus on integrating inquiry into your agriscience classrooms, time management and delegation, supervised agricultural experiences (SAE’s), student award applications, and agricultural education and FFA updates.
